Another 5!
As mentioned yesterday, the 5’s are about conflict, loss and change. In this card we see 5 figures competing against each other to win the prize. So although this card is signifying a conflict, unlike the 5 of swords, this conflict is more in the form of competition.
When this card shows up in your spread you are being reminded that you many need to work hard to achieve your goal. There will be competition, possible arguments and a need to put your point of view forward. However, if you look closely at the imagery, you will see these five figures appear to be working together to support each other in their quest. It’s almost like a team laying down the foundation to give the leader the best chance of succeeding.
This can be a card of ambition. Striving for want you want in order to achieve your very best. What needs to be remembered are the people around you who help you succeed. No ‘man’ is an island. We require people, colleagues, family and friends to supply the competition needed to keep us motivated.
Be thankful for the little conflicts that create competition and work together to support each other’s journey.
