Giving and receiving – which hand are you?
The 6 of Pentacles is all about generosity, gratitude and compassion and can be seen from both sides of the equation.
When the 6 of Pentacles appears in your spread, it is reminding you that compassion and gratitude are needed at this time. It may be that you are lucky enough to have your finances balanced and even a little to spare. In which case, you are being asked to share your abundance with those around you as there may come a time when you are in need of this very same compassion. If that is your current situation you are being encouraged to lay aside your pride and accept the generosity of those around you with gratitude.
With the recent bushfires destroying so much of our livelihoods and environment, this card couldn’t be more appropriate. We have been a witness to both sides of this ‘coin’. Thankfully, for many of us, we have been blessed to be on the ‘giving’ side of the recent disasters. Whether it be through money, time, skills or donations our gifts have been received with grateful and humble hearts.
When you see the 6 of Pentacles, pause to remember how quickly and easily the coin can flip so come from a place of love and compassion.
