As with all the Kings, the King of Swords is in complete control over the elements he rules. This card is about self-discipline, structure, routine and logic and often represents someone in business or legal professions.
If the King of Swords appears in your spread you are being encouraged to find your strength in your intellect. This is not a time for to let your emotions take over. Remain objective and logical and use facts to back up your reasoning.
The King of Swords can also represent someone in your life. If this is the case, this person will be an influence to your current situation. You will recognise them by their intelligence, honesty and self-discipline. While this person may not be overly emotional, they will be exceedingly loyal and fiercely protective of those they love.
Sometimes when you are faced with opposition to your goals, particularly goals relating to employment or legal decisions, the energy of this King will serve you well. Remember to stay true to the facts, remain objective and put aside emotions for the time being. Now is the time to embrace logic and intellect.
