This energy of the Empress embodies all that is the Divine Feminine. She is Mother Earth, the Goddess of fertility and represents all that is nurturing, creative, sensual and beautiful.

There is nothing fake about this archetype. Her beauty is deep and her love is pure and unconditional. She embraces the world in her nurturing arms and reaches out to all in tenderness and care.

When this card appears in your reading you are being asked to bring your dreams forward and give them birth. Nurture your soul and be gentle with yourself and those around you. The Empress is about abundance and growth. While she can, quite literally indicate the birth of a child, she is also representative of the birth of our ideas and dreams particularly those of a creative nature.

The Empress can also be a reminder to acknowledge and release our emotions. She brings healing and rest to our injured souls and encourages us to let go of that which is bottled up and preventing us from moving forward. If you are feeling weary or worried, allow yourself to be wrapped up in the healing arms of the Empress.
