General Reading for Week 18-22 May, 2020

Card 1 – 9 of Wands
Card 2 – The World, Major Arcana 21
Card 3 – 10 of Pentacles.
As I looked at these three cards, I felt I needed clarification. To say again, these cards are speaking of a re-emerging from hibernation into a new world and new energy, felt like I was repeating myself from the last couple of readings. And, so, I drew a card to clarify the 9 of Wands and another to clarify The World and the 10 of Pentacles. I only needed one card for the latter two as they are both conclusion cards, end of cycle cards.
Amazingly, the clarification cards only reaffirmed my initial thoughts.
To clarify the 9 of Wands, I drew The Hermit another Major Arcana card and interestingly, another 9.
This got me thinking. When was a “state of emergency” called for Victoria due to Covid-19 and, yes, you guessed it, exactly 9 weeks ago! (16th March 2020). Seriously – you can’t make this up!! LOL!! I have been reading for many years and, still, the cards leave me in awe at their accuracy.
So, for the past 9 weeks we have been living the energy of The Hermit, huddled away and rethinking our future. The 9 of Wands mirrors this. It’s the card of “The last stand”. Battle worn and weary, we shelter behind our makeshift barricade and wait for the dawn. For the light will shine clarity and healing on our situation. For those of you who know me, know my favourite musical is Les Miserable and one of my favourite lines from the song “Do you Hear the People Sing” is ‘Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise’.
With that in mind, let’s turn to the following two cards – The World and the 10 of Pentacles. Both cards are the final card in their ‘suit’, The World being the last Major Arcana card. So, in asking for a card to clarify these, I was not surprised to see The Sun pop up. Another Major Arcana card, number 19 and, looking at it from a Numerology point of view, if you add the 1 and 9 of 19 you get 10! This isn’t the Universe speaking, this is the Universe SHOUTING! 😃
Our lives are about to begin again embracing a whole new energy. With The World as our centre card, we are about to emerge to something bigger and better than we had before. The key is to believe this, embrace this and manifest this. The 10 of Pentacles promises abundance. While pentacles often denote monetary wealth, this abundance could be anything that fills us with joy and makes us complete.
With The Sun as our clarifier, what more could we want? Joy is there for the taking, abundance is ours. We have come full circle. Our days of ‘sheltering in place’ are coming to an end. We will soon be free to run in the light of the Sun, frolic in the joy of abundance. Trust that this is yours! Manifest the life you want and live as though it is already yours.
You have come full circle. A new beginning is about to start.
